I have a Ph.D. in Physics and Mathematics. I graduated from one of the best European technical schools: Moscow Engineering Physical Institute (aka Moscow Nuclear College). My first experience as a teacher was as a sophomore in college, where I taught Physics. I have been teaching ever since that day. For the last 17 years, I have been teaching Physics at Temple University. While teaching at Temple, I worked with students at all levels, from music majors, who had no knowledge of the subject at all, to those majoring in Physics. I can work successfully with students at all skill levels. Contact me and we will discuss how I can help your child:

• prepare for an upcoming test
• improve SAT/ACT scores
• get a passing grade and forget about it
• discover the beauty of Physics
• understand why this rainbow appears in my backyard

As a tutor, I can help simplify the most complex Physics and Math courses (Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus). I will teach your kids many interesting things that are important not only in the learning process, but also in everyday life, such as Newton Mechanics, Electricity and Magnetism, Optics, Modern Physics, and many other fascinating topics.

A little bit about myself. I grew up on the Black Sea coast, studied at a Moscow college, and, after graduating, I worked at one of the Moscow academic institutes. I emigrated to America 25 years ago after the collapse of the Soviet Union.

In addition to my physical and mathematical education, I also received a musical education. I graduated from a music school and play several instruments: guitar, piano, flute… In my free time I enjoy playing the guitar and sing.  I also play in amateur theater.
